What is a Rotavator?

Rotoravator is an attached working tool of a tractor, and is an agricultural machine that cuts the soil by rotating several blades connected to the rotary shaft using the PTO rotational power of the tractor.
It is used for soil preparation for sowing and transplantation. If plows help the soil circulation by plowing the ground, the rotorbater grinds and crushes the soil into small chunks, so fertilizers are well mixed in the ground, making it an essential agricultural machine in modern agriculture.

In English, it is commonly known as ROTORVATOR, CULTIVATOR, ROTARY HOE, ROTARY TILLER, and in Korea it is also called ROTARY as a short. Human have cultivated crops for thousands of years and spent most of the time plowing land. A modern powered rotary hoe was invented in 1912 by Australian inventor Arthur Clifford Howard. 
Since Howard (1893-1971) made a cultivator equipped with a motor, he has taken a step closer to modern cultivation methods.

Depending on the usage of the rotavator, it varies from small, medium, and large rotavator to folder-type rotor bater capable of cultivating a large area.
Depending on the horsepower of the tractor, there are from a small 20-horsepower range to a large rotorvator with more than 200 horsepower.

Various companies around the world produce various rotavators.
It is produced by foreign brands such as MASCHIO in Italy, CELLI in Australia, and various companies such as WeCan Global, Woongjin, Youngjin, Greenmax, and Korean chain in Korea.

With the recent enlargement of tractors, more than 100 horsepower tractors are being distributed to farms in Korea. As a result, rotorbaters are also on the rise in size.
